Ray Tracing

Well, I’m making a little progress on my Ray Tracer for my Computer Graphics class. So far I’ve generated some interesting images, but I don’t have any Lambertian or Phong shading models working yet. Once I get those working, then I’ll really be happy. Here’s what I have so far.

Not too bad.

Ehh, it is okay.

Of course, when you see the stuff that you can really do with Ray Tracing, that’s not very impressive. Check out these images generated by a friend’s ray tracing program. They’re far more impressive than anything mine does.

That is pretty!

Look at that phong shading!

Oh well, as you can see I’ve still got some work to do. Back to Ray Tracing.
