I stumbled upon a new application recently that has turned out to be quite a gem. It’s called TaskSwitchXP Pro, and it’s written completely using WinAPI for quick, speedy execution. Another positive is that it takes up less than 1MB of RAM on idle. I haven’t been using it all that long, but it’s quickly becoming an indispensible tool. Here’s a shot of TaskSwitchXP in action:
It also allows you to minimize tasks to the system tray using a convenient user-specified hotkey. As if all these features weren’t enough, it allows you to pop up a sticky window that shows either all open windows for a specific process or simply all open windows. The icing on the cake is that it’s a small 327KB file that does not require installation (my favorite kind)! Download, unzip, and run! Check it out if you’re looking for a well-implemented alternative to the boring, standard Windows task switcher.

Chaz,
The new template looks impressive. I like the new design and look to your blog page. Update more often so we can keep tabs on your life. I hope you are feeling better. Keep it up!
