After watching Gilmore Girls one Tuesday (yes, yes… I watch Gilmore Girls), I decided to give the new WB series Supernatural a try, and I’ve got to admit that I enjoyed it… a lot. At first, I was skeptical about the show’s plot, but after watching just a few episodes, it’s got me hooked. I’m sure someone will deride me for my Supernatural affininity, but I really don’t care. Simply put, I like it too much. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not going to displace Smallville at the top of the heap, but it will become a regular staple in my viewing line up (assuming it makes it past the first season).

The plot of the show revolves around two brothers played by Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki both of whom had parts on Smallville and Gilmore Girls respectively. These siblings are on a search to find their father who disappeared for reasons that have yet to be disclosed, but along the way, they also end up hunting down supernatural beings on their trek across the country. All their supernatural knowledge comes from a journal left behind by their father who’s business revolved around hunting down evil, paranormal forces. A one man Ghostbuster if you will. I know… I know. It sounds a little hokey, but I promise it really is quite entertaining.
If you’re interested (and you should be), you can catch Supernatural on Tuesday nights at 9:00pm immediately following Gilmore Girls. You won’t regret tuning in, and even if do, it’s not like you had to pay anything extra to see it. So you’ve really got nothing to lose and everything to gain!

I didn’t mind the episodes of “Supernatural” that I saw, but it is opposite “Commander in Chief” and “House” and “My Name is Earl” so it had to go. I am hoping that it lasts past rerun season so I can get caught up.
I’m interested, I’m interested!
Will check it out this week now that someone has said it doesn’t suck.
